Diagnostic Services

We offer in-house cytology, helping to quickly diagnose such things as ear infections, skin problems and some cancer, including the most common type of skin cancer in dogs.Laboratory Services

When time is of the essence, we have in-house blood testing machines to give us valuable information on a pet right away.  We also have send out testing services that allow for a larger range of tests.  Results are returned in one to five days in most cases.

In addition to blood testing, we can also do in-house cytology, helping to quickly diagnose such things as ear infections, skin problems and some cancer, including the most common type of skin cancer in dogs (Mast Cell Tumors).

We perform general abdominal ultrasound and heart ultrasound (echocardiogram).Ultrasound

We perform general abdominal ultrasound and heart ultrasound (echocardiogram).  By using ultrasound, we are able to get a view of the internal structure of an organ in the abdomen and chest.  We are able to accurately diagnose and treat heart disease and many other diseases because of this technology.  Ultrasound also enables us to use less invasive methods of obtaining samples from internal organs.

Radiographs (X-rays)

Radiographs have been used in veterinary medicine for a long time but often provide very useful diagnostic information.  We use radiographs to evaluate bone and organs like the heart, lungs, liver, spleen, kidneys, and bladder.  For hip and elbow dysplasia, we are able to perform OFA radiographs.
